unauthorized access, and record user access to the network
resources. Interlink Networks specializes in high end, high
performance solutions to meet requirements that can’t
be achieved by off-the-shelf RADIUS servers.
Our carrier-class
RADIUS server has been recognized with industry acknowledgements
that include COMNET’s New Product Achievement Award
Finalist, Communication News Editors' Choice Award, and Network
Computing Well-Connected Award Finalist.
OUR
HISTORY - Started with the RADIUS Server
Interlink Networks was formed by a spin out of technology
and developers from Merit Network, a world-renowned designer
of Internet technology, hosted at the University of Michigan.
The founders of Interlink Networks spent over a decade defining
and developing the world's best carrier-class RADIUS (Remote
Access Dial-In User Services) server.
Interlink's
founders issued the first RFP for centralized AAA (Authentication,
Authorization, and Accounting) in the early 1990’s,
and championed the resulting RADIUS server standards through the
IETF Standards Groups. They also championed many of the RFCs
that define EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol) standard,
which is the underlying security mechanism for 802.1x wireless
LAN network security.
In 2000, Interlink Networks spun out of Merit Network and commercialized the Merit RADIUS Server into the RAD-Series product line. Interlink Networks continues to serve Carriers, ISPs, and network equipment OEMs across the world.

The RAD-Series
RADIUS Server provides authentication, authorization, and
accounting (AAA) that meet the service delivery requirements
of Carriers, Internet Service Providers, and fully networked
enterprises. Our RADIUS Server is uniquely powerful, scalable,
and customizable to meet the demanding and ever changing requirements
for remote access control. We combine the industry-leading
extensibility with advanced customizable policy control to
deliver the most flexible and adaptable RADIUS server solution available
on the market today. The RAD-Series RADIUS Server delivers a unique combination
of powerful performance, scalability and flexible customizability.
Our RADIUS server
is ideal for Carriers
that need a flexible, scalable, and customizable AAA (Authentication,
Authorization, and Accounting) infrastructure and System Integrators
and OEMs that want to incorporate RADIUS software into their product
platforms.
For customizing
your solution, an optional RADIUS server Software Developer's Kit (SDK)
to allow the addition of custom plug-ins to accomplish a wide
variety of purposes. Plug-ins can be used to influence the
authentication and authorization decision-making process,
modify incoming or outgoing packets, or call any external
AAA services.
Diameter Server Solutions
Interlink
Networks also offers a developer’s release of the Diameter
Server, the next generation protocol specifically designed
to meet the requirements of the IETF and TIA for CDMA2000,
3GPP2, Mobile IPv4 and IPv6 Authentication, Authorization,
and Accounting (AAA) requirements.
Our Diameter
Server v2.0 provides an excellent platform for third generation
(3G) cellular and Mobile IP data services AAA solutions. Along
with the Diameter Server v2.0, Interlink’s professional
